This was a gift to Samber, who I don't believe has a dev account. Why is it a WIP? Because I'm doing a background for it.
Wings are completely CG, they didn't fit on the page I did the rest of the lineart on.

As for what the tattoos mean:
Umbra (spelled 'vumbra' on the stinger, could be on both sides) "shadow" in Latin
Serpens (between the brows) "snake" or "serpent" in Latin
Mortuus (spelled 'mortvvs' on the lower jaw, would be on both sides of the head or you could choose for there to be something else on the other side) "dying" in Latin
Sanguine (spelled with a V across the chest cuz in engravings 'u' is written as 'v') "blood" in Latin
Acer (across the tops of the front toes) "sharp" in Latin
Tsuyosa (on the wing-wrists, I guess would be what I'd call them) "strength" in Japanese
Youjin suru (on the stinger) "beware" in Japanese
Dokueki (on the brow and below the eye) "venom" in Japanese
Hebi (on the snout) "serpent" in Japanese

Time? ... several weeks... don't know how many hours precisely. All coloring done in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 with my Intuos3.

Was a WIP because I was going to do a background, but the computer that had this crashed. So, no longer a work in progress.
